About us

It all started with a jar of chilli jam. A friend gifted it to me, and one evening,  I shared it with another friend. We had it with a range of different cheese and crackers. We loved it… so much so that the jar was gone before we knew it!

When I tried to buy more online, I couldn’t find that exact jam anywhere. So, I decided to try make my own. After experimenting with a recipe and adding a few personal twists, I made a batch that, honestly, tasted even better than the original.

I shared my creation with friends and family, and one friend loved it so much they said, “I’d pay for this in a shop!” That comment sparked an idea. With Christmas around the corner, I put together a few small hampers of sweet chilli jam, hot chilli jam, and a pack of crackers, and advertised them to my local community on Facebook.

The response was incredible! I made enough for 50 hampers, but within two weeks, nearly 250 orders had come in. That’s when CHOPPY’S CHILLI PANTRY was officially born.

Since then, we’ve been sharing our love of fresh, small-batch chilli jams and sauces with our community — and now online — bringing bold flavours and a little bit of heat to homes everywhere.
